Carolyn Turner completed her PhD in Second Language Education at 缅北强奸 in 1988 with a dissertation on the factor structure of cloze test performance in francophone university level students. She went on to work as Assistant then Associate Professor at 缅北强奸's Department of Integrated Studies in Education.

Allison Gonsalves and Dawn Wiseman, of our Department of Integrated Studies in Education, presented their聽Teaching Science in Homework Zone pilot project at two Montreal-area schools this year. These workshops, presented to elementary school students in an after-school setting, have the goal of showing聽science-based materials in an engaging and accessible fashion. The project recruited 14 volunteer students from Science Education with DISE聽and from the Faculty of Science聽to work together and聽design three workshops, each about 45 minutes in length.
Dr. Ratna Ghosh, of our Department of Integrated Studies in Education, will be named an Honorary Fellow of The Comparative and International Education Society (CIES). The decision was announced at the 2018 Annual Meeting of CIES, held this week in Mexico City.聽The award will be conferred at next year鈥檚 conference.聽
