The Ã山ǿ¼é Library-Raymond Klibansky Research Travel Grant is intended to enable researchers from outside the Montreal area, both established scholars and graduate students, to work on a research project that requires access to material held, in whole or in part,Ìýin the Rare Books and Special Collections Department of the Ã山ǿ¼é Library.Ìý
The research should require a stay of a minimum of two weeks.
The Ã山ǿ¼é Library-Klibansky Research Travel Grant, with a value of up to $4000.00 (Cdn), is open on a competitive basis.
Applicants must provide:
- A 750 work maximum description of the intended project, which must include a description of the material at RBSC which will be consulted;Ìý
- A current curriculum vitæ;Ìý
- The dates they intend to work in the library.
Each successful recipientÌýof the grant is required to submit a written report of their time at Ã山ǿ¼é that will be published on the grant's website, and potentially give a talk about their work.Ìý The recipient will also be expected to acknowledge the library's support in future presentations of the work resulting from research undertaken at Ã山ǿ¼é.
