Philip Carpenter Fellowship in Biology

Established in 1892 by Mrs. Philip P. Carpenter to provide “a postgraduate teaching fellowship or scholarship in Natural Science or some branch thereof.â€

Eligibility New applicants to the M.Sc. or Ph.D. program; to be awarded on the recommendation of the Biology Department.
Value Two awards of $2,000 each per year

Vineberg Family Fellowship

Established in 1990 by the family of Gertrude Vineberg to support research on environmental quality.

Eligibility Awarded by the Faculty of Science, upon recommendation of the Executive Committee of the Limnology Research Centre, to an outstanding student pursuing graduate studies and research on fresh water pollution, conservation and rehabilitation.
Value $8,000; non-renewable
