The Society this year increased its enrolment to over eight hundred due to the return of veterans and also to the growing popularity of the school.
Many extra-curricular activities were carried on as usual and many were expanded upon. In conjunction with the Arts and Science undergraduate Society aa formal dance was held on February 14th in the Gym.
A series of dinner meetings of the society were held during the year at which prominent business men spoke on their respective professions.
In order to aid our members in public speaking, Charlie Butterworth organized a Commerce Society debating club, which soon became firmly established. Jim Peers, representative to the intramural Athletic Council was successful in organizing our teams for the various sports.
Our members at Dawson held their activities separately, except for their welcoming banquet arranged early in October.
