Ratna Ghosh, of our Department of Integrated Studies in Education, has been named as a聽Membre听茅尘茅谤颈迟别听of the Order of Excellence in Education in Quebec (OEE). Prof. Ghosh received the medal at a ceremony in Quebec City on Friday, June 15th.

SPOT Professor and Education alumna Dr.聽Aliki Thomas聽(PhD (Learning Sciences)聽2011)聽has been selected as the 2018 winner of the 缅北强奸 Faculty of Medicine Maude Abbot Prize. The award recognizes an outstanding female faculty member who excels in education, research, or administration with a focus on the early career stage.

In an airy open area at the back of the first floor of the former library of the Faculty Education is a colourful space filled with art supplies and work tables. Along the wall there are bins and boxes of fabric, coloured pencils and paints, sketch pads, paper, and all manner of recycled objects, ready to be remade into anything the visitor desires. Welcome to the聽听(惭础贬滨).

It was a successful turn out for the 缅北强奸 Faculty of Education鈥檚 first Distinguished Public Lecture and Professional Development Lecture Series made possible by a generous donation from the Hong Kong based WYNG Foundation. This event took place on May 13, 2017 at The First Commercial Building, in Hong Kong.

Montreal's OBORO gallery presents Anne Ashton's 罢颈产耻谤贸苍 from September 12, 2015 until October 17. Anne Ashton currently teaches painting with the Faculty of Education.

The 罢颈产耻谤贸苍 installation "deals with the great white shark," reveals OBORO's promotion for the exhibit, "in danger of extinction due to human impact. The artist's intention is not to romanticize or demonize this animal, but rather to emphasize the uniqueness, as well as the primeval and mystifying beauty of this rare species..."

During the month of September 缅北强奸 will host the 14th Annual Pow-Wow (September 18) and the 5th annual Indigenous Awareness Week (September 21-25). 缅北强奸鈥檚 Indigenous Awareness Week is designed to increase awareness at 缅北强奸 about Indigenous peoples in Canada. The week honours the many Indigenous cultures across the country including First Nations, M茅tis and Inuit.
