Notes:
- The Web conferencing cart will be referred to as the WCC
- The presenter's computer will be referred to as a BYOD
Synopsis
- This is not a Zoom meeting
- A presenter on premise shares content from their BYOD聽to an audience on premise
- The BYOD display is extended to the tactile display
- Neither the microphone, speaker nor camera in the WCC are used
- Content displayed on the tactile display cannot be replicated on a classroom projector
Prerequisite
The BYOD must have an HDMI port.
Set Up
Connections to the WCC
- Plug the cart into a power outlet
Connections to BYOD
- Connect the HDMI connector labeled HDMI IN 3 (top cart shelf)
Turn on the Equipment
- Turn on the WCC as instructed on the cart
- Tap the computer icon when it becomes visible at the bottom of the interactive display (shown here聽under the Zoom icon, but available well before the Zoom interface loads)
- On the display control menu聽tap on HDMI3 (bottom of display)
- Then tap on close to hide the control menu
BYOD Display Configuration
Configure the BYOD to extend the display.
After the Meeting
- Tap on the minimized tab at the bottom of the display
- Return the HDMI selection to HDMI1
- Place the lens cover back on the collaboration bar
- Turn off the WCC as instructed on the cart
- Disconnect all the cables previously connected
Annotation
Presentations may be annotated using the intrinsic capabilities of the tactile display.
