Dr. Pedro Alvarez

Dr. Alvarez will be working with TISED on two inter-related areas: (i) safe and sustainable nanotechnology and (ii) resilience of water systems for safe and sustainable water supplies.
Dr. Stefan Grimberg
Professor, Clarkson University

Anaerobic digestion researcher, Dr. Stefan Grimberg, will collaborate with TISED and others to study the environmental, economic and associated policy implications of diverting source-separated organic waste from landfills to wastewater treatment plants.聽Additionally Dr. Grimberg will work with TISED to assess and develop policies that minimize impact on the environment while realizing their energy and nutrient recovery potential.
Dr. Chris Marnay
Principal, Microgrid Design of Mendocino (MgDoM)

Over the last 15 years, Dr. Chris Marnay鈥檚 work and research has focused on microgrids and he has become a very influential researcher in this area. Dr. Marnay聽will bring his experience to bear, working with TISED and others on exploring the benefits of microgrids and their role in smart grid deployment and sustainable resilient communities.聽
