Faculty of Management Minors for Non-Management Students

The Desautels Faculty of Management has four minors that allow undergraduate non-Management students to develop a variety of managerial skills that will serve them throughout their chosen careers.

All minors are 18 credits split between a fixed set of required courses and a choice amongst complementary courses. Students can only pursue one of the minors offered by the Desautels Faculty of Management. On an exceptional basis, students may be permitted a maximum of one Continuing Studies course for credit within their chosen Management minor.

All minors for non-Management students have limited enrolment and require an application; the application form may be found at mcgill.ca/desautels/programs/bcom/academics/minors-non-management-students/management-minors-non-management-students. The application deadline is June 1. Decisions will be made by July 1, whereby students will be informed via their Ã山ǿ¼é email address. Courses for minors must be passed with grades of C or better. Courses for minors cannot be taken under the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory option. Students must inform their Faculty when they are approved for one of the four minors, to ensure timely graduation.
