Overview

Interdisciplinary Studies : The following themes will be introduced: the physician as professional and healer, building the physician/patient alliance, the clinical method. Specific topics that will be covered include: observation skills, skillful listening, life cycle, content of the medical interview, issues in death and dying, and methodology for ethical decision-making.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2019-2020 academic year.

  • Restriction: M.D.,C.M. and D.D.M. students only.

  • Students must register for both INDS 120D1 and INDS 120D2.

  • No credit will be given for this course unless both INDS 120D1 and INDS 120D2 are successfully completed in consecutive terms.
