Overview

Dentistry : Understanding of the role of a Periodontist in multidisciplinary care. Recognize common periodontal conditions and recommend treatment. Providing preventative, non surgical and surgical treatment. Making recommendations for mucogingival deformities. Manage mild to moderate chronic periodontal conditions. Compose a preliminary comprehensive treatment plan in periodontics.

  • Restriction(s): Open to DMD IV students only.

  • Students must register for both DENT 428D1 and DENT 428D2.

  • No credit will be given for this course unless both DENT 428D1 and DENT 428D2 are successfully completed in consecutive terms
