It aims to prepare students for entry into the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry or to pursue further graduate studies in biomedicine, agriculture, or the environment. Graduates will find jobs ranging from positions as research assistants and/or technicians in biomedical or pharmaceutical laboratories to managerial or supervisory positions. They may also pursue a career in the business of biotechnology including patent and intellectual property management.
