Entrance scholarships

缅北强奸鈥檚 offers two distinct financial support programs for all newly accepted, first-year, first-degree undergraduate students:

  • Merit-based Entrance Scholarships
  • Need-based Entrance Bursaries

These programs are administered centrally (not through the Faculty of Science). Consult Scholarships and Student Aid for any questions about entrance scholarships and bursaries.

The Faculty of Science provides about 200 scholarships and prizes to its students each year:

Dean's Honour List

The Dean's Honour List (DHL) carries no monetary reward, but is an official University recognition of the student's achievements and is recorded on the transcript. This distinction is conferred upon no more than the top 10% of students. Continuing students are named to the list based on the combined GPAs for the Fall and Winter terms. Graduating students are named to a separate list based on cumulative GPA.

The Dean's Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research List

The Dean's Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research List (DMURL) recognizes B.Sc. students who have participated in substantial and broad undergraduate research. Consult the program website for requirements and details.

Enriched Educational Opportunities Bursaries

Enriched Educational Opportunities (EEOs) are officially recognized experiential learning activities that foster personal and professional development. The EEO Bursaries Program provides non-repayable financial assistance to ensure all students, including those in Science, can fully participate regardless of financial need鈥攍earn more about eligibility and recognized opportunities for Science students on the Faculty's EEO website.

Global Designation (B.Sc.)

The Faculty of Science B.Sc. Global Designation is a graduation distinction recognizing B.Sc. students who enhance their degree with language learning, independent research, and global experiences. Financial assistance for current students

While awards are granted on the basis of academic merit, bursaries (grants) and repayable loans are granted on the basis of financial need and are administered by the Scholarships and Student Aid Office. Students apply through 缅北强奸 Student Aid. There are also work study opportunities available.
