André Bilodeau, MD

Dr. André Bilodeau graduated from Université Laval in Family Medicine in 1986. He holds a master's degree in health sciences education (1995) and a graduate diploma in public administration from the École nationale d'administration publique (2015).
He was appointed as a physician-teacher in the family medicine unit (UMF) of Hôpital du Saint-Sacrement, in Québec City, in 1988. He was director of the UMF from 1992 to 2002 and oversaw its transfer to CLSC Haute-Ville in 1996. An Associate Professor in Université Laval's Faculty of Medicine, he oversaw the revision of the Family Medicine Residency Program from 2000 to 2003, then directed the program itself from March 2003 to October 2007.
In October 2007, he joined the management team at Hôpital Montfort, in Ottawa, where he was Vice-President, Academic Affairs, and CEO of the Institut du Savoir until 2019. During the same period, he was Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, where he taught professionalism, ethics, and the history of medicine.
He joined the CampusÌýOutaouais team in January 2020. He is co-director of interprofessional collaboration training and director of the PIAT course, in addition to teaching several courses in the various components of the curriculum.
