In the Experimental Program, students wishing to pursue a Ph.D. are admitted into a Master鈥檚 program and either complete the Master鈥檚 degree, or are allowed to fast-track to a Ph.D. after undergoing a formal evaluation and admission process.
Student research is conducted in collaboration with the research supervisor, with input from the student's supervisory committee and other faculty members. At the end of each year, standing in the program is determined by research progress and by evaluations in the required courses.
