Clinical Interests: 

Central nervous system malignancies; proton therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, spine radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiosurgery

Current research: 

(1)Validating molecular imaging biomarkers to improve response assessment and reduce CNS toxicity in primary brain tumors and brain metastases. (2) Evaluating dose escalated highly conformal RT combined with systemic therapy using molecular imaging to delineate biologic target volumes at highest risk of recurrence in high-grade gliomas. (3) Establishing early MR/PET imaging biomarkers of treatment response and overall survival to allow for adaptive RT treatment planning. (4) Preclinical research on the late effects of RT on the tumor microenvironment and impact on subsequent therapy including immunotherapy. (5) Developing novel, phase I/II translational clinical trials.
