Voting eligibilty:

To be eligible to vote— you must hold one of the following positions in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences:

  1. Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor (full-timeÌýor part-time)
  2. Faculty lecturer (full-time only)

Note: Faculty members holding appointments in the Ingram School of Nursing, School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, or the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, please do not vote in this election; separate elections are held within these Schools.

The Ã山ǿ¼é Senate is a governing body tasked with general control and supervision over the academic matters of the University. It is composed of 111 voting members broadly representative of the University's constituencies (faculty, staff, students, administrators, Board members and alumni). The composition and responsibilities of Senate are governed by the Statutes of Ã山ǿ¼é. The proceedings of Senate are governed in part by the Standing Rules of Procedure.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has 13 elected members on Senate (3 year terms), with 3 seats reserved for members of the Ingram School of Nursing, School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, and School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The current membership is as follows:
