In-course scholarships

Ã山ǿ¼é woodswomen team work together to saw a log at competitionThe Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences offers in-course scholarships to eligible full-time undergraduate students already enrolled in our Faculty who are continuing their studies.Ìý

Students who completed a minimum of 27 graded credits in the prior academic year are automatically considered andÌýdo notÌýneed to apply for the majority of these scholarships, including the Dean's Honour List. Students can consult the in-course awards section of theÌýUndergraduate Scholarships and Awards CalendarÌýfor a complete listing of awards by faculty.

AES in-course scholarships that require self-identification

There are only three in-course scholarships in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences that undergraduate students are not automatically considered for, Eligible students who wish to identify themselves as athletes or for specific areas of interest (cattle/dairy production, water management) should apply for consideration using the forms below.


Athletics

For eligible students who balance schoolwork with a sport/athletics.

Eligibility requirements

  • You are active in organized sports:
    • Varsity team
    • Athletics outside Ã山ǿ¼é
    • Leadership in intramural sports (volunteering as team captain, manager or organizer)
  • You will have completed 27 credits during the current academic year
  • You will be returning full-time to the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in the fall
  • You have a high sessional GPA (cut off usually 3.5–3.7)Ìý

Dairy production

For eligible students interested in dairy or dairy cattle production.

Eligibility requirements

  • You are interested in the dairy industry or in dairy cattle production
  • You will have completed 27 graded credits during the current academic year
  • You will be returning full-time to the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in the fall
  • You have a high sessional GPA Ìý(3.5Ìýor higher)

Water resources

For eligible students interested in water resources management.

Eligibility requirements

  • You are interested in water resources management
  • You will have completed 27 graded credits during the current academic year
  • You will be returning full-time to the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in the fall
  • You have a high sessional GPA (Dean’s Honour List—usually above 3.8)
