About
The Research Group on Transitions and Global Modernities explores the similarities and differences arising from the current debates and cleavages present in a wide array of societies and states across the globe from a historical perspective. Focusing on different notions of historical transformation, the group is a hub for a聽transnational network of leading scholars and researchers. Bringing together historians from a vast array of methodological approaches, academic traditions聽and research concentrations, it dedicates each academic year to examining聽a specific theme within the Centre鈥檚 mandate. It hosts events oriented on the theme of the year, and it co-hosts events with the聽Center鈥檚 other research groups and with centers/institutions at 缅北强奸 and beyond.
