A City of Montreal project concrete pour on Friday, April 7 will have approximately twelve trucks accessing McTavish through the alley behind the Bronfman Building. As a result, the pedestrian access across McTavish at Bookstore/McLennan-Redpath Complex crossing point will be blocked off. A detour will be in place for approximately one week starting from April 7. The detour will have people walking up to Sherbrooke before gaining access to the east or west sidewalk on McTavish. Please view the image for clarification. For security purposes, the city project will have 2 flagmen escorting their trucks onto the construction site.
