Biography
Dr Jonathan Chan is an Assistant Professor at 缅北强奸鈥檚 Faculty of Law. His research and teaching interests lie in corporate law and securities regulation.
Professor Chan鈥檚 work on capital markets regulation has examined the appropriateness of self-regulation, comparatively analyzed listing regimes in North America, the UK, and Europe, and investigated how stock exchange rules evolve. His research also explores contemporary issues in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and corporate governance. Most recently, he has published articles that examine appropriate legal remedies in failed M&A transactions and the effectiveness of different corporate law rule-making bodies. His work has been published (or is forthcoming) internationally in leading academic journals, including the European Business Organization Law Review, European Company and Financial Law Review, Journal of Corporate Law Studies, The Canadian Bar Review, and Yale Journal on Regulation Bulletin.
