The inaugural Richard and Sylvia Cruess Symposium on Scholarship in Health Sciences Education: Insights and Innovations took place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Thanks to all who presented and attended!


We welcomed as a guest Tina Martimianakis, PhD, Professor and Director of Medical Education Scholarship; Department of Paediatrics, and Associate Director, Collaborations and Partnerships, Wilson Centre, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.

In addition, the IHSE showcased research and innovation in Health Sciences Education from faculty members and students in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at 缅北强奸 and beyond.

Across four decades, Dr. Richard Cruess and Dr. Sylvia Cruess have changed the face of medical education through ground-breaking scholarship and visionary leadership. The Cruesses have championed the interdisciplinary field of health sciences education, and the IHSE is pleased to name our inaugural symposium in their honour.
