Value & DurationÂ
- Monthly stipend of EUR 850.
- Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover.
- Travel subsidy, unless these expenses are covered another source of funding.
- One-off study allowance.
For a study period in Germany as part of a postgraduate or Master's degree completed in a foreign country:
- Usually one academic year (October 1-July 31) ; an extension is not possible.

Use the on the DAAD website for instructions on completing your application in the DAAD Portal. The Online Application Portal allows applicants to check the status of their application. Once an application has been accepted, a notification and a summary of the application in PDF format will be sent to the Portal.
