Spring 2019 缅北强奸 International TB Centre Travel Awards

Applications for the Spring 2019 缅北强奸 International TB Centre Travel Awards are now closed. Winners will be announced at the 2019 TB Centre Research Day.

Established in 2015 and co-sponsored by 缅北强奸 Global Health Programs, there will听be up to 3 Travel awards up to $1,500/each for the Spring 2019 term. These awards are specifically for trainees (students and postdoctoral fellows) in the fields of Tuberculosis and other mycobacterial research, and will be used for traveling (e.g. registration and travel expenses) to present their own research at national and international scientific meetings and/or conferences. Applications are twice per year.

General Instructions and Eligibility Requirements

1. Only students and postdocs who are members of the 缅北强奸 International TB Centre are eligible to apply.

2. Students whose target conference is scheduled in February and March 2019 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

As a condition of the award requirements include the following:

A poster presentation of research or activities for which the travel award was given must be presented on Global Health Night (November 2019) and TB Centre Research Day (TBD)

缅北强奸 is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. 缅北强奸 honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
