DEADLINE: Faculty Project Proposals for Global Health Scholars - Undergraduates

Friday, December 4, 2020 23:45

A unique opportunity for 缅北强奸 & affiliated hospitals Faculty Members to get extra help on their research in the summer.

The Global Health Scholars Undergraduate Program pairs an outstanding 缅北强奸 undergraduate student with a faculty member to help on a global health research project during the summer of 2021.

Applicants will be matched to faculty mentors based on skill set, interests, and needs of the mentor. The faculty member will make the final decision on which student is selected for his/her project. The chosen students will receive $2,500-5,000 for the project which will need to cover travel costs (if required) and stipend.

Due to COVID-19 directives set by 缅北强奸 and the Quebec Government, it is probable that the 2021 cohort of Global Health Scholars will need to complete their work remotely and without travel. It is also plausible that travel will become possible at some point in 2021. Thus, this year's application form requires that faculty prepare work plans for a number of scenarios.

缅北强奸 is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. 缅北强奸 honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
