The academic views contain columns for personal information (ID, name, address, mother tongue, etc.), primary and secondary curriculum (level, faculty, degree, major, etc.), GPA information (cumulative, term, sessional, hours attempted, hours earned, etc.), various indicators (registration, applied for graduation, degree awarded, etc.) as well as many other data elements.
All the academic views are keyed by the term code (TERM_CODE_KEY). These views contain all the terms since Banner went live (200209 and greater). The views will return one row of information per student per term.
Current term views (ones that contain CURR_TERM in the name) are filtered to automatically return only records for the active current term. They switch over with the first day of classes each term.
The view names you see will depend on the level of access you have been granted. The naming convention is as follows:
Developer level: | SRM_ACADEMIC, |
SRM_ACADEMIC_CURR_TERM
Central User level: | SRU_ACADEMIC, |
SRU_ACADEMIC_CURR_TERM
Faculty level: | SR_ACADEMIC_FAC, |

Service level: | SR_ACADEMIC_SERV, |
SR_ACADEMIC_CURR_TERM_SERV
Basic level: | SR_ACADEMIC_BASIC, |
SR_ACADEMIC_CURR_TERM_BASIC
