What is the Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy Internship Program?
This Internship trains and develops the next generation of leaders to catalyze solutions that benefit population health and welfare. Interns spend 10 hours per week on research work in collaboration with their faculty supervisor. This research is supplemented by a weekly workshop series that exposes interns to a variety of disciplines and provides training in research, communications, and policy-relevant skills.

Senior undergraduate (U2 and above)聽and graduate students at 缅北强奸

Students interested in investigating how social conditions affect health and well-being

Students interested in learning about translating research into action through policy

Note:聽Interns must be available for weekly seminars and training sessions on Thursdays from 1:30-2:30 during the Winter 2025聽semester. Those who cannot attend these sessions are ineligible.
What do Interns do?

Work 10 hours per week on a policy-relevant research project under the supervision of a Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy faculty or associate member.聽

Develop a work plan in collaboration with your supervisor outlining the activities and contributions for your Internship.聽

Attend a weekly interdisciplinary workshop series at the School of Population and Global Health to build research, communications, and policy-relevant skills.聽

What do Interns get out of this program?

Earn $2,500 over the course of the internship.聽

Gain hands-on research experience in a vibrant, interdisciplinary academic setting.聽

Take the opportunity to present your work at the DEEP Annual Conference student poster session in May.聽

Receive recognition for your Internship on your 缅北强奸 Co-Curricular Record (CCR).聽
