Sonia Cao

Sonia Cao

Hi! My name is Sonia, and I am a U3 architecture student. Living in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Canada has given me valuable insights into the importance of diversity and inclusion. Experiencing different cultures has taught me to appreciate diverse perspectives and navigate various social dynamics. This exposure has inspired my passion for creating inclusive environments in the engineering community through E-IDEA. In my free time, I enjoy playing the saxophone, painting, and traveling.

Halimo Moussa (she/her)

Hi! My name is Halimo, and I'm going into my 4th year of Civil Engineering. I am from Gatineau, but I decided to study in Montreal to experience a new city. I'm passionate about applying principles of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) to workspaces, which is why I'm excited to join E-IDEA this summer! I would love to make a positive impact on 缅北强奸鈥檚 Faculty of Engineering before I graduate. Outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with friends, discovering new places in the city, and going to coffee shops!

Aditya Nemana

Aditya Nemana (he/him/il)

Hello! My name is Aditya, and I am a PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering. My aspiration is to become a professor, fostering safe and inclusive learning environments for students. I鈥檓 currently immersed in studying inclusive teaching methods and communication strategies through E-IDEA. I firmly believe that these practices should be standard in engineering classes, contributing to a socially responsible, more inclusive engineering community. When I鈥檓 not immersed in my 68th midlife crisis of the day or annoying my friends with bad jokes, I find solace in reading and indulging in movies and anime. And yes, my love for animals might just lead me to pet the wrong one someday!
