缅北强奸
Led by Professor Shaheen Shariff, iMPACTS聽is a multi-year project to address sexual violence on university campuses across Canada and internationally. This project is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC)聽in the amount of $2.5聽million.聽It is further supported by an additional $3.7 million of in kind and cash contributions from聽缅北强奸 Faculties, the聽缅北强奸 Vice Principal (Research and Innovation),听educational institutions (universities and colleges),听and聽community partners.
The overarching goal of this project is to unearth, dismantle and prevent sexual violence within universities, and ultimately in society, through evidence-based research that will inform sustainable curriculum and policy change. Professor Shariff is James 缅北强奸 Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, Faculty of Education, 缅北强奸, and she is the Director of this seven-year SSHRC Partnership Project.
Unlike other efforts that occur in isolation, this SSHRC Partnership Project is the first of its kind to address, dismantle and prevent sexual violence聽by means of a systemic partnered solution in the fields of education, law, policy, arts, popular culture, news and social media. Professor Shariff brought our multidisciplinary partners together to address an issue remains a priority for聽public policy, namely, sexual violence in universities.聽Together we consider聽how sexual violence聽is tacitly perpetuated and how universities can work with arts and media sectors on informed and sustainable responses that place student voice, agency and education at the heart of policy and curricular initiatives.
