Marie Saint-Girons started working with the CRCF in November 2018 after completing her MSW at 缅北强奸. She currently supports the coordination of the First Nations/Canadian Incidence Study of Reported Child Abuse and Neglect 2019 (FN/CIS-2019), a national study examining the overrepresentation of First Nations children in the child welfare system across Canada. She is also part of a research project exploring best mental health practices for LGBTQ+ forced migrants in Canada that aims to build a theoretical framework for practitioners. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at University College London in the United Kingdom and is interested in the ways in which different social contexts shape the effectiveness of coping strategies.
