At first, FRAN脟OIS CR脡PEAU, BCL/LLB鈥82, wanted to be an archaeologist. 鈥淔rankly, I don鈥檛 remember when I decided to study law,鈥 he laughs. His eventual decision seems to have been the right one, nonetheless. One of the world鈥檚 foremost experts on international human rights and refugee law, Cr茅peau recently joined 缅北强奸鈥檚 Faculty of Law as the first Hans and Tamar Oppenheimer Chair in Public International Law.

Perhaps an aptitude for the law was in his genes. His father, after all, is PAUL-ANDR脡 CR脡PEAU, 缅北强奸鈥檚 Arnold Wainwright Chair in Civil Law.
