Dr. Susanne Lajoie, and Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, was featured in The Globe and Mail today as one of the leading researchers across Canada!
Dr. Lajoie's research focuses on designing and assessing new technologies that support learning and training across disciplines. Innovative computer based learning environments are designed to support learning across the lifespan. Dr. Lajoie has designed systems for high school math and science classrooms, for medical schools, and for graduate students studying learning sciences.
As described in today's The Globe and Mail article, "...Dr. Lajoie鈥檚 current focus is looking at how medical students learn using computer simulations that mimic what they will encounter in the field".
