Andrée Boisselle, BCL/LLB’99, a 2008 Trudeau Scholar

Andrée Boisselle, who currently is doing a Ph.D. in Law at the University of Victoria, has received a Trudeau Scholarship as she studies indigenous legal traditions for her thesis, "Making Room for Indigenous Law in Canada: Towards a Reconception of Western Legal Theory". The Faculty of Law congratulates her warmly.
Up to 15 Trudeau Scholarships are awarded each year to support doctoral candidates pursuing research of compelling present-day concern, touching upon one or more of the four themes of the Foundation. Trudeau Scholars are highly gifted individuals who are actively engaged in their fields and expected to become leading national and international figures.
