Matt Slopecki Receives Award from GESTE

Congratulations to Matt Slopecki who received an award from GESTE (CIHR Team on Gender considerations in knowledge transfer interventions) for “Modelling an approach to gender-conscious participatory action-oriented research and knowledge transfer favouring equality, equity and occupational/environmental health”.

Matt was awarded $6,000 for his project: Are workloads appropriately adjusted for strength differences between men and women? Modeling the interaction of anthropometric load and sex on the progession of fatigue during an upper limb repetitive movement task.
