Kristy聽received a Bachelor of Science (BSc, Honours) in Biochemistry with a specialization in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Ottawa (2022). Her undergraduate research focused on the development of a novel heterologous prime-boost vaccination consisting of oncolytic viruses聽expressing tumor-associated antigens as a therapeutic strategy for dedifferentiated liposarcoma. She has also worked in numerous microbiology labs and with the Public Health Agency of Canada, the latter sparking an interest in epidemiology.聽Kristy聽hopes to incorporate and expand upon her background in microbiology, immunology, and oncology with the theory and application of epidemiology.聽
