Overview

The Minor聽in聽Social Entrepreneurship聽will聽teach you聽how to conceptualize, develop, and manage successful new ventures, like聽social enterprises, not-for-profit organizations and cooperatives.聽You can apply to join the program after your first year at 缅北强奸.聽聽

You will build the聽skills necessary to take on issues of social responsibility and environmental sustainability, and the know-how to develop products and services that can alleviate social problems.聽聽

You can explore different social issues聽through courses聽in the Faculty of Arts, from international development, to聽social housing and聽cultural programming.聽Through targeted courses in the Faculty of Management, you will build a comprehensive set of management skills.聽聽

This聽unique聽program will help you learn聽more聽about the聽causes you are passionate聽about,聽and聽figure聽out聽how you聽can聽make a difference聽in the real world.

Student Experience

This聽minor has a strong emphasis on hands-on experience,聽either through an experiential course聽where you can聽create an entrepreneurial business plan or through an internship at an NGO or other social enterprise.聽

SENT 499, the Social Entrepreneurship Internship, allows聽you聽to complete an internship relevant to the field while earning course credit.聽You will gain聽hands-on experience, network, and develop skills that聽can聽help you advance in your聽future聽career.聽
