Overview
Kinesiology, the study of human movement, is also largely known as exercise or sport science.聽The Minor Kinesiology is designed to provide students in B.Sc. programs with basic but comprehensive knowledge of scientific bases of human physical activity and its relationship with health and well-being.
Student experience
Kinesiology courses are generally housed within the 缅北强奸 Sports Complex (i.e. Currie Gymnasium Building) at the base of the Montreal landmark, Mount Royal. The Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) has dedicated large automated classrooms for up to 100 students and smaller seminar rooms, as well as the renovated Tassone Teaching Lab and other laboratory spaces equipped with fitness equipment and modern machinery for scientific research.
As KPE is a smaller and close-knit department within the university, you will appreciate the feeling of community, making personal connections and being supported by the members of the academic and administrative teams and advisors. KPE students also have a dedicated student society known as SAPEK (Student Association of Physical Education and Kinesiology).
