Want to serve in the community and connect with fellow Ã山ǿ¼é students? Come join us for a Food Sorting activity at Mission Bon Accueil, an organization that supports people facing food insecurity in the Montreal community.Ìý The activity will consist of sorting through food that has been donated to Mission Bon Accueil to prepare baskets that will be distributed in the organization’s markets. Snacks will be provided!ÌýÌýÌýÌý

By registering to this activity, you agree that your name (first and last) will be shared with the partner organization for logistical and attendance purposes. Once you sign up, you will receive an email with additional information including our meeting time and location to travel together to the venue.ÌýÌýÌý

Registration closes 5 days prior to the activity.Ìý

When a minimum of 4 hours of volunteering for Mission Bon Accueil has been completed, you can request a copy of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), an official document recognizing your involvement in out of classroom learning experiences.ÌýÌý

Please refrain from bringing any valuables, as personal items will be stowed in a separate room during volunteer hours. Please avoid wearing any jewelry and wear closed toed shoes to avoid accidents or injuries.

Ã山ǿ¼é is on land which has served and continues to serve as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. Teaching and Learning Services acknowledges and thanks the diverse Indigenous peoples whose footsteps mark this territory on which peoples of the world now gather. This land acknowledgement is shared as a starting point to provide context for further learning and action.
