David Eidelman is Vice Principal (Health Affairs) and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ã山ǿ¼é. A Ã山ǿ¼é graduate, Dr. Eidelman pursued clinical training at the University of Toronto before returning to Ã山ǿ¼é, where he completed specialization in respiratory medicine. A clinician scientist whose work has focused on chronic airway diseases such as asthma and COPD, Dr. Eidelman continues to be active in airway biology research. Before being appointed Dean in 2012, Dr. Eidelman had served as Director of Respiratory Medicine and subsequently as Physician-in-Chief of the Ã山ǿ¼é Health Centre and Chair of the Department of Medicine.
