Program Requirements
The B.Com.; Major in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources focuses on analyzing and influencing repeated patterns of action in groups and organizations, including leadership, human resource management, team management and concepts of management at multiple levels of the organization. The program also includes foundational studies in one or more of the following social science disciplines: psychology, sociology, anthropology, or industrial relations.

Organizational Behaviour : This is the era of big data. Companies and organizations are collecting an enormous amount of information and we are only just beginning to grasp the ways in which this information might be used. This course covers the emerging field of people analytics, which involves applying data collection and analysis techniques to improve the management of people within organizations. Organizational Behaviour : Students apply a wealth of OB concepts and leadership strategies by spending the equivalent of one full day (8 hours) per week at an organization within Montreal鈥檚 social sector. Course material will supplement field experiences. The Practicum complements ORGB 321, which offers a more comprehensive survey of leadership theory.
