Program Requirements

The Graduate Certificate in Theory in Pediatrics prepares students to acquire the theoretical knowledge required to subsequently complete clinical courses in the Graduate Diploma in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. This program is designed for students who previously completed a master's degree in nursing (equivalent to the Ã山ǿ¼é M.Sc.A in a nursing program) but have not completed any nurse practitioner theory or clinical courses. Students should complete 6-12 credits in preparatory theory courses prior to entry into the Graduate Certificate program (the specific number of preparatory courses required will depend on courses completed during their master's degree).
