Overview

Nursing : The development of collaborative practice with individuals and families during health or illness; a focus on engagement, working and termination phases of long-term, family-centred relationships. Concepts include personal values, cultural issues, disclosure, boundaries, timing, cognitive interventions, dealing with emotions, and identifying strengths. Concurrent clinical work with a community dwelling family.
