Overview
Economics (Arts) : The underlying principles of the design, implementation, and analysis of macroeconomic policy, with applications to monetary policy, exchange-rate policy, tax policy to influence growth and distribution, and the effect of government spending and debt. Emphasis is placed on Canadian macroeconomic policy, although international comparisons are also discussed.
