Overview

Social Work : This seminar will explore topics related to social work practice with groups including concepts of race, culture, gender and sexual orientation; authority and empowerment, ethical issues in practice; work with hard to reach and involuntary populations; termination and evaluation. It will be concerned with both theoretical issues and intervention strategies.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.
