Overview

Sociology (Arts) : Introduction to significant elements of theory and research related to micro-level social interactional processes involved in the development of self, perceptions, and behaviour. Topics will include socialization, attitudes, persuasion, social cognition, the behaviour of groups, emotion, prejudice and discrimination, and violence and aggression.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.

  • Restriction: Not open to students who have taken PSYC 215, PSYC 330, or MGCR 221
