Overview

Architecture : The architecture of houses in Quebec from 1650 to the present. Distinguished buildings are reviewed from the point of view of form, style, siting and material, as influenced by climate, culture and architectural antecedents in France, England and the United States. The course material is presented through alternating bi-weekly lectures and seminars.
