Webinar: Why has academic public health research failed to reduce South Asian health disparities in Canada?
The , in collaboration with community partners Indus, Punjabi Community Health Services, the South Asian Health (SAH) Network, and CIHR, together, with South Asian community members, service providers, and researchers, will examine how current academic research practices have fallen short in reducing health disparities for South Asian communities in Canada. The need to reimagine research approaches to prioritize accountability, community ownership, and sustainability, towards reducing health inequity will also be discussed.
