As Coordinator of Clinical Education, Ms. Tittley plays a leading role in teaching and clinical administration in the School. She teaches courses in her area of expertise and which cover professional practice issues. She is centrally involved in managing and smoothly administering the clinical placement process, and supervises and mentors students in the MSc (Applied) program. Ms. Tittley runs the School's Outpatient Teaching Clinic where she supervises MSc students working directly with adults with acquired communication disorders.Shehelps to mobilize external resources and community support to create innovative clinical practice opportunities for SCSD students. Ms. Tittley is replacing Kelly Root who is on leave in 2018-19.
As a clinician, Ms. Tittley has worked extensively with adults with acquired communication disorders. She is very interested in how principles of evidence based practice are applied in the clinical world and in the treatment of chronic aphasia. She is currently working with Dr. No茅mie Auclair-Ouellet on a project to study the efficacy of language treatments and treatment delivery models in chronic aphasia.
