Mike Strauss
Academic title(s):
Assistant Professor
Department:
Anatomy and Cell Biology
Areas of expertise:
Mike Strauss is interested in using electron microscopy to its maximum potential for biological imaging (and diffraction). He works in the fields of virus-host interaction, structure determination of molecular complexes, and investigating the details of microbial nanowire interactions with their environment and how this can be used to address complex problems like bioremediation or the making of a microbial fuel cell.
Research areas:
Cryo-electron Microscopy
Structural Biology
