We are honored that Professor Debbie Moskowitz was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Society for Interpersonal Theory and Research (SITAR). The award was announced during the 21st annual meeting of SITAR which was held in Montreal, June 22-23.

Dr. Debbie Moscowitz
Professor Debbie Moskowitz
This year, the Society for Interpersonal Theory and Research has chosen to recognize a career of outstanding work, by giving Debbie S. Moskowitz the second ever Lifetime Achievement Award.听 Debbie has made foundational contributions to the fields of personality, assessment, person-by-situation interactions, psychopathology, and quantitative methodology, among others.听 Debbie鈥檚 work has always stood out for being thoughtful and careful, but what distinguishes it most is that her work has been prescient.听 The main questions of current day personality and psychopathology focus on understanding traits and disorders as contextualized dynamic processes; Debbie was doing this work well over 20 years ago in the 1990鈥檚.听 She has been a trailblazer whose work has reverberated across the field.听 We owe much of the way we conceptualize, measure, and model psychological and behavioral processes to her efforts and vision.听 In addition to her resounding professional achievements, Debbie has distinguished herself as a kind and generative senior colleague to so many in this society and beyond.听 For all of these reasons, we are honored to have Debbie as a member of this society and are pleased to give her this award. 听听
