Hangjun Wang

Dr. Hangjun Wang is Board certified in Anatomic Pathology and specialized in Thoracic Pathology and Cytopathology. She obtained her Medical Degree from China and her four years of residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York, USA. She completed three fellowships at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York focusing on (i) Thoracic Pathology (ii) Cytopathology and (iii) Oncologic Surgical Pathology.
Her primary role is to establish accurate pathologic diagnosis, staging and interpretation of predictive markers and molecular profile to guide treatment decisions. She works with colleagues from oncology, surgery and radiation oncology to care for people affected by lung, pleural, and mediastinal diseases.
